About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to work on driving and coordinating various analysis and investigation assignments at an often cross-organizational level, and who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively with others.

You will work with data protection issues at a strategic and tactical level within the area of vehicle information, often in close collaboration with colleagues in information security and contract coordination. You will also work on other types of investigation assignments where you will have the opportunity to delve into more issues within the department's broad operations. An important task is to coordinate responses to referrals.

The position is located in the Vehicle Information Department, in one of two sections in the unit Staff where we handle issues related to security, information security, investigations, and administration. The Staff provides support to other operations within the department with both general and specific expertise and is to some extent to steer, support, coordinate, and follow up on the department's operations. In the Staff, we work in teams and have close collaboration with our colleagues in the unit. To thrive with us, it is therefore important that you enjoy collaboration and finding solutions to complex issues. You should also want to develop both yourself, others, and the organization and find it exciting with varied tasks and assignments that can encompass the entire department.

You will

  • lead a working group that at a strategic and tactical level works to develop and manage the department's work with data protection based on applicable legislation
  • coordinate the department's part in the authority's register of personal data processing
  • lead, coordinate, and participate in investigations and assignments, primarily regarding data protection and information security but also regarding the department's various operational areas
  • prepare and present various analyses, reports, decision materials, etc.
  • coordinate and prepare referral responses
  • coordinate and prepare regulatory work
  • assist with knowledge, advice, and support to the operations
  • participate in other assignments within the unit's areas.

You must have

  • a university degree in a relevant field for the position, e.g., law, political science, or information security, or equivalent experience in qualified investigative work that we assess as equivalent
  • current and documented experience of working with data protection issues based on applicable legislation
  • several years of experience in working with investigations and analyses
  • experience in coordinating issues/assignments at a cross-organizational level
  • very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have

  • experience of working with information security
  • experience of working with regulatory development, e.g., regulatory work
  • experience in developing and implementing routines and guidelines as well as experience in auditing to ensure quality in operations
  • knowledge of information management, e.g., record keeping, archiving, and disposal, in public administration

We want you to

  • be self-driven, i.e., you take responsibility for your tasks, structure your work independently, and drive processes forward
  • be flexible, i.e., you easily adapt to changing circumstances. Can quickly change your perspective and approach, seeing opportunities in changes
  • be proactive, i.e., you take initiative, start activities, and achieve results
  • have a holistic view, i.e., you see the whole and take into account the larger perspective, understand your role, but see the best for the entire organization in actions and decisions.
  • have analytical ability, i.e., you understand complicated materials, both spoken and written. Produce your own documents of high quality.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
